It was confirmed experimentally for the first time that the compilations of medical herbs with wheat bran for the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) diseases treatment - granules "Poliherbahastryn" and "Hepatropin" exhibit a wide range of pharmacological actions and due to their membranoprotective, antiexudative, antioxidant and hepatoprotective properties can be successfully used for the treatment of destructive and inflammatory gastrointestinal diseases. It was examined the influence of Lipin and Lipoflavon on the processes of lipid and protein peroxidation in comparative aspect, and the effects of different administration modes of mildronate, piracetam and certain statins on renal function in rats under the conditions of experimental acute renal failure. It is found that the studied medications exhibit renoprotective properties. The structure of the pharmaceutical market of methylxanthines' was inspected. The optimal ways of modifying of the functional groups of imidazole basic types were determined, and it was found that the insertion of the alkenyl functional fragments into their structure generally enhances the antioxidant effect of the synthesized compounds. As exemplified by promethazine hydrochloride, kinetics and stoichiometry of the S-oxidation reaction of phenothiazine derivatives by potassium hydrogenperoxomonosulfate in acidic aqueous solutions was studied. It was found a presence of the gallic acid in the rhizomes and roots of Paeonia officinalis and unsaturated fatty acids, significant content of which provides an opportunity to recommend the medicinal plant raw material of Paeonia officinalis for use in the complex treatment of inflammatory processes and for the development of new medicines.
