Common state of forest-protection strips on route of irrigated cannals estimates as unsatisfactory. Forest-protection strips were landed after construction of cannals, age of trees are more then 30 years. In conditions of Arid Steppe project term of forest-protection strips vital activity (25 years) already exhaust long ago. Trees are strikes of diseases and pests, on large area they are perished.
