Description

Found that the effective viscosity is dependent on the gradient of shear rate, and hence the oil in contact acquires the properties of non-Newtonian fluids, that is not included in the calculation formulas elastohydrodynamic lubrication theory. The increase in the effective viscosity of the investigated oil pressure increase is due to the activation of molecules under the influence of PAO shear rate. The study confirmed earlier findings that the friction modifier with the sulfur- and phosphorus-containing adduct shows better results in contrast to the other friction modifiers. Thus, the index badass modified lubricant Protek EMT-8 is 20% greater than the modified lubricant MT-8p, Protek EMT-8 can support the critical load for about 80H more MT-8p all things being equal, the diameter of the wear scar MT-8p increased by 10% compared with Protek EMT-8 all equal. In general, it is best explained by anti-wear, extreme pressure and anti-friction properties of the friction modifier based on a combination of phosphorus and sulfur, and made on its basis of the modified lubricant - Protek EMT-8 on the MT-8p.
