The resulting materials were studied as a photocatalyst in the photocatalytic processes to recover hydrogen and water gas-phase oxidation of organic compounds (alcohols, acetaldehyde, benzene). The luminescent properties of nanostructured zinc oxide were studied. In particular, it was found that the presence of aerosil in the synthesis of ZnO nanoparticles leads to increased luminescence intensity zinc oxide colloids almost 3-fold increase in the quantum yield and emission of up to 30%. The effective materials and technologies for the production of nanophotonic systems for printed "smart" packaging that can inform consumers about the quality and the safety of packaged foods and serve the protection of printed products against counterfeiting were developed.
