Purpose - to develop proposals on possible scenarios of economic development as part of the "green" course and benchmark national structural policy (taking into account international experience). Methods - general and special methods, namely: the retrospective analysis, the dialectical method, the system approach method, induction, deduction, comparative analysis, synthesis methods and clustering. The information on the progress of foreign countries towards "green"economy was summarized and country groupingwas conducted.The materials on the development of "green" industries and their place in the industrial structure of countries that are "leaders" and "outsiders" in building "green" economy were prepared. Scenarios of development of the Ukraine towards building "green" economy are made and its expert assessment was conducted. The resultsof research will be used in the current work of the Department of Macroeconomic Forecasting in developing proposals for strategic and policy documents in the field of economic (especially - structural) policy of Ukraine and evaluation of projects of documents relating to laying the foundations of "green" economy that meets the strategic interests of Ukraine and its international obligations and in the current work of the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine in the preparation of information and analytical materials.
