The purpose of research: to improve the results of endovascular treatment of patients with extra- and intracranial tumors, a high degree of vascularization, depending on the type of tumor and features its blood supply. Methods: routine survey analysis of physical findings and neurological status, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, cerebral angiography. Results: found that in cases of diffuse tumors filling a high degree of vascularization of using a balloon catheter allows for safe embolization of the tumor with preservation of functionally important brain vessels, prevents retrograde displacement embolization substance. Using Onyx as trombuyuchoi composition under reduced blood flow in the tumor stroma allowed for more radical embolization of tumors, due to a more pronounced ability of this material to fill the tumor stroma. The results of endovascular off tumors depend, primarily, from the architectonic features of tumors, tumor localization. The best results are achieved at paraganglioma, hemangiomas lower and upper jaw, angiofibroma and meningiomas of the nasopharynx. In the case of participation in the blood supply a tumors of the internal carotid artery, the use of balloon- catheters allowed to increase the radicality of embolization, reduce the risk of embolic complications. At hemangiomas of soft tissue endovascular embolization remains the only treatment without further surgery. Endovascular embolization of head and neck tumors with a high degree of vascularization is an effective treatment of this disease, which can significantly increase the radicality of further surgery.
