Description

The subject of research is zones of appearance of metasomatosis in Kirovograd megablock as objects of exploration for gold and uranium ores. Work objective is to identify areas promising for exploration of endogenic ore occurrences of strategic mineral resources within Kirovograd megablock (gold, uranium) using geoelectric (magnetotelluric) methods. The work resulted in preliminary geological and geophysical description of the survey areas promising for exploration of gold and uranium ores. Geologic-geoelectric models of the areas promising for exploration of rare-metal-rare-earth metals within the Azov megablock and gold and uranium mineralization within Kirovograd megablock and Ukrainian Shield are built.
