The presence of concomitant chlamydial infection is accompanied by decrease in the number of major lymphocyte populations and subpopulations, proliferative activity of T-lymphocytes and phagocytic activity of neutrophils with the increase of proinflammatory cytokines level, activated subpopulations of HLA-DR+ and CD25+ lymphocytes, concentration of pathogenic circulating immune complexes (ICs), content of IgE, IgG and B-lymphocytes. Patients with COPD and concomitant herpes infection were characterized by immunodeficiency, mainly of T-cell chain of immune system and NK-cells, along with a significant increase in the relative number of T- and B- lymphocytes with early and late markers of activation on the background of autoimmune signature and inflammatory changes in peripheral blood. In the immune system of patients with AH combined with osteoarthritis, violations of autoimmune nature is observed, which are in dependence of the stage of AH and the presence of osteoarthritis and cause an overproduction of TNF-alpha, IL-1beta, IL-6 and IL-8, the increase of CRP, sICAM content and expression of activation molecules CD95 + and CD54 +, the increase of apoptosis and development of endothelial dysfunction. In diabetic patients with AH, a deficiency of T-cell chain of immune system, subpopulation of T-cytotoxic lymphocytes/suppressors, level of serum IgA and secretory IgA, and also a significant reduction in proliferative activity of lymphocytes were revealed. These changes link with activation and increase in the number of B-lymphocytes and synthesis of IgG by them, misbalance of immunoregulatory subpopulations with the increased number of T-helper cells, significant activation of T- and B-lymphocytes with a predominance number of activated lymphocytes with a strong ability to migrate in inflammation and through damaged endothelium.
