The purpose of work: the development of methods, algorithms, programs and graphic format of progressing compression of the colored images without losses. Work is directed on the decision of scientific and technical task of realization of progressing compression of the colored images without losses by adaptation of existing methods and development of new methods and algorithms of previous transformations and coding of brightness of components of pixels during their layered analysis. In the process of research the effective scientifically justified sequence of round of pixels is developed for realization of progressing hierarchical compression of images without losses. Application of this sequence enables not only to accelerate decoding, when sizes of area of conclusion are considerably less than sizes of images, but also to use hierarchical predictors for prognostication of the value of every element (the brightness of separate components of attendant pixel) on all layers, beginning from the second. In direction of application of previous transformations mathematical models and effective methods and algorithms of processing of images are created by difference color models and predictors with the purpose of multiplying the level of their code redundancy. For realization of the context-independent compression byte-oriented arithmetic code is selected, as it makes decompression faster. For diminishing of level of interelement redundancy the algorithm of LZ77, which executes the search of identic sequences not only among previously analyzed elements but also among information of previous passage-ways and glowed, which begin from the contiguous processed pixels, is used in work. The algorithms and their modifications that are presented in research are realized in developed by us graphic format of HBF-LS, realization of which in middle the compression of images approximately on 64 % and speed of decoding on 406 Kbytes per second.
