The influence of heat treatment and the deviation from the stoichiometry on the concentration of charge carriers were established. It was revealed a sharp increase (~ 1.5-2 orders of magnitude) conductivity and electron density during annealing the sample at 770 K. The method of removal of 2nd phase inclusions in Cd(Zn)Te crystal by heat treatment for several hours at a temperature of ~1100 K under controlled vapor pressure of cadmium or tellurium was developed. It was shown that annealing atmosphere for this process didn't influence on obtained result. Heating water colloidal suspensions of nanoparticles of CdTe simultaneous stripping solvent leads to a marked shift in the photoluminescence peak long-wavelength region and a sharp increase in the absorption of short waves. This behavior is characteristic for the formation of one-dimensional structures (sticks) core-shell type. These effects are much stronger when you add EDTA to this system.
