The subject of the research has been achieved due to the elucidation of the linguistic method as a heterogeneous phenomenon. The project is an original and integral research of the topical issues of the linguistic methodology and genetic linguistics. It should be mentioned that it is the first attempt of the complex investigation of the total components of the linguistic and linguistic genetic methods. The conception of the historical-comparative and historical methods development during the XIX – the XX centuries has been postulated in the research. The tasks of the research have been performed thanks to actual method, the common scientific linguistic method for linguistic historiographical aspect. The scientific novelty of the findings consists in the analysis of the specific methodics of language history modeling: 1) the particular characteristics of the linguistic method; 2) the operational component within the comparative historical method includes the procedures: genetic identification of facts, linguistic reconstruction, chronology and localization of linguistic phenomena; 3) the interpretation of the linguists statements on the structure of the linguistic and linguistic genetic methods in connection to the scientists methodological directions.
