Object of study: biological effects in experimental models of tumor growth - in mammalian cell culture under the conditions of combined effects of neitronecapture agents with photosensitizing properties and red light. Research methods: the cultivation of transplantable cells, cell cultures irradiation with red light, cytological (preparation and analysis of cell culture for optical microscopy), biophysical (ductal cytofluo) statistics. Now two binary method of cancer treatment are activily developing - photodynamic therapy (PDT) and neitronecapture therapy (NСT). The advantage of PDT is the high selectivity of tumor lesions. An urgent is the search and investigation of neitronecapture agents with photosensitizing properties. An experimental study of the combined effects of neitrocapture agents with molecular structure (carboranes and porphyrins), magnetically driven nanocomposites containing boron or gadolinium and incoherent red light (630 nm) from LEDs experimental thermostatted chamber and monochromatic laser light (630 nm) from device "Lika- hirurg" on the morphological characteristics of cells in the culture on test cell line L929 were made, the nature and characteristics of their actions were established. It was established that the biological effectiveness of radiation with a wavelength of 630 nm (red light) depends on its physical characteristics: power density (mW/cm2) and the duration of exposure (s). Exposure of cells to red light dose of 60 J/cm2, but under different conditions (50 mW / cm2 for 20 min and 100mVt / cm2 for 10 minutes) causes diverse morphological changes in the test cell culture system. The combined effect of hadoliniy- and boroncarrying nanocomposites and photosensitizers with molecular structure in a concentration range of 0.05 - 500 mg/ml and a red light in a dose of 60 J / cm2 (100mVt / cm2 for 10 min) on proliferating cells and cells in stationary growth phase had varying effectiveness: in certain concentrations lead to damage of proliferating cells and not changed or activated proliferation in cell culture in the stationary growth phase. Monochromatic laser radiation at a dose of 60 J/cm2 (100mVt/cm2 for 10 min) in combination with nanocomposites and especially with photosensitizers produces stronger damaging effect on proliferating cells than non-coherent light LEDs. Combined effect of neitroncapture agents (nanocomposites and photosensitizers) and red light (from LEDs and incoherent monochromatic laser) induced apoptosis in cell culture regardless of its condition.
