Objective: To study the effect of individual elements of cultivation technology on productivity and quality of grain of modern varieties and hybrids of cereals, oilseeds and energy crops; develop methods to optimize all components of the technology in order to create highly productive crops. The authors have investigated a number of growing technology elements: seeding rate, timing and methods of sowing, fertilizer rates, depending on the biological characteristics of cultures, their varietal composition and saturation of technology elements biologization. A comparative evaluation of the performance of domestic and foreign varieties of winter wheat under different soil and climatic conditions (Ukraine and Austria). Conducted phenological observations and biometric measurements (assimilation surface area, the dynamics of growth of dry matter, net productivity of photosynthesis, photosynthetic capacity). A definition of biological and actual crop yields and justification of the difference between them. The analysis of indicators of the quality of wheat, barley, corn, peas, soybeans, obtained at different technologies to meet growing domestic and international standards. A comparative evaluation of the quality of crop production under different conditions of storage and a comparative assessment of the suitability of vegetable oils for the production of biodiesel and compliance with the standard EN-14214.
