It is elucidated that mechanical characteristics of such steels change insignificantly and the fatigue and strength ones depend significantly on the environment action. A calculation model is formulated relying on which the methods are developed to determine the residual resource of the pipes of gas conduit lines with external surface cracks and their welded joints at long action of internal pressure, corrosive environment and opening- closure of gate valves in the pipe. The residual resource of the pipe and its welded joint of exploited steel X60 with internal surface crack is determined at long pressure action, soil corrosion, watering of the pipe walls and opening-closure of gate valves in the pipe. To this end the diagrams are constructed for corrosion damage of each region of welded joint of exploited steel X60 at different water concentrations. It is shown that opening-closure of gate valves in the pipe and watering of its welded joint decrease significantly the residual durability of the pipe.
