An aim of work is research and analysis of activity of ТC, organizations of work of their secretariats and determinations of factors, that influence on efficiency of work of ТC. A basic task of work is realization researches of legislative and normatively-legal principles, that regulate activity of ТC, and development of recommendations, in relation to the improvement of functioning of ТC taking into account the requirements of operating normatively-legal acts, normative documents, documents of international and regional organizations and set priority directions of standardization in all spheres of activity. Research method: complex going near the analysis of spheres of activity and objects of standardization, normative documents international, regional and national organizations from standardization and their working organs; system and graphic-analytical methods of research of statistical data and reports are in relation to activity of Ukrainian ТС. Basic results of researches: the analysis of present data is conducted about national ТС, and also legislative, normatively-legal and normative documents that regulate their activity in Ukraine; the comparative analysis of existent approaches is conducted in relation to organization of activity of ТС on national, regional and international levels; recommendations to improve the performance of TC in measurement industry are developed; special techniques and software tools are designed to assess the competence of experts who takes into account the uncertainty of the data and using the analytic hierarchy process.
