The relevance of the study. At the present stage of economic development, international tourism serves one of the services sector, developing most rapidly, despite fluctuations in global economic conditions. An increase in the share of tourism in world exports and imports of services, increase revenues from international tourism, increase its share in GDP countries. These phenomena necessitate research current trends and patterns of world tourism market, need to identify the key factors that influence the development of international tourism. Given the significant impact of the tourism industry in economic and social development of countries, expansion and maintenance of foreign economic relations of the state, require the development of the basic principles of the state policy of tourism development, especially in an unstable external economic environment. Object of research is the development of international tourism in the global economy. The subject of the research is theoretical and methodological foundations and organizational and economic conditions of the international tourism industry in the global economic system in the context of globalization. The purpose of research is to develop theoretical and methodological foundations of the study of tourism development in the global economic system and the development of scientific and practical recommendations for the development of international tourism in the context of globalization. Scientific novelty lies in deepening theoretical and methodological foundations of the study of world tourism market and the development of scientific management and economic development of recommendations for international tourism in the global economic system. The mechanism of attracting foreign investment in the tourism industry Ukraine in order to increase economic activity by creating a favorable investment environment (government guarantees to protect foreign investment, legal investment regime, guarantees against confiscation, guarantees in the event of termination of investment activity, etc.). Considering competitive manifestations functioning of the tourism industry in market conditions (legal support; infrastructure maintenance; opening to foreign investors access to the tourist market, the system of examinations of investment projects, etc.), the use of which will help to improve public policy to attract foreign capital in the tourism industry (introduction of an open model tourism development, identifying priority directions of investment in tourism, coordinating activities to attract foreign investment and international organizations and others.). The authors improved organizational and economic principles of engagement and use of foreign investment in the tourism industry of the national economy, such as the necessity of introducing a system of promotion of foreign investors depending on priority investment object, investment amount and expiration date; proposed to create a single integrated polity foreign investments, central to which is owned by state-owned company specialized in foreign investment; quantitative principles in making tourism development through the development of scientific and methodical approach to determine the optimal level of investment in the tourism industry on the establishment of optimum equilibrium price between supply unique tourism services, tourism services and ordinary needs of tourists. The results of the study developed scientific and reasonable advice and techniques used in teaching Ternopil National Economic University in the development of teaching methods of teaching a number of subjects.
