Purpose of study is the epizootological monitoring of PRRSV shedding in pig breeding in Ukraine, study its biological properties and identify field isolates. Research methods - virological, epizootological, serological, statistics. Were selected 208 serum samples and 112 pathological material from pigs of different age groups, including 19 - from boars, 109 - from sows, 64 - from piglets to 2 months of age from 7 farms of 3 regions of Ukraine. According epizootic monitoring epizootic index of mixed infection RRSS + WHC-2 in Poltava region was 0.7, Kharkiv and Donetsk - 0.3. Aggravation of epizootic situation of reproductive disorders in the herd and to reduce the viability of newborn piglets in 90% of studied cases accompanied with pathogens circulation of PRRSV, PCV-2 and PPV. Analysis of survey households on epizootic infections with reproductive and respiratory syndrome shows that the main factor of their occurrence and distribution in the country is imported livestock from disadvantaged pig breeding.
