The aim of the work is to measure the cross-border transfer of radionuclides from nuclear power plants of Ukraine in case of radiation accidents utility under different weather conditions. Method of research is the mathematical modeling of the propagation of gas and aerosol emissions in the atmosphere and their deposition on the surface layer; statistical methods of generalization of the results. The results and their novelty. A prototype of the complex predictive models for the assessment of radioactive contamination of the air and the surface layer as a result of accidental releases from nuclear power plants, which consists of: negidrostatichnoi numerical weather prediction model WRF-ARW to inform current weather information and diffusion model of atmospheric transport and deposition of radionuclides LEDI. Complex model for assessing and predicting the radiation situation at the possible utility of accidents at nuclear power plants in terms of variability of synoptic meteorological conditions and the nature of the underlying surface in the contaminated area. Significance of the work and findings. With the help of the model complex made impact assessment of possible radiation accidents at nuclear power plants in Ukraine for the environment Ukraine's neighbors. Analyzed meteorological and aeroclimatic especially near NPPs of Ukraine and its impact on cross-border transfer of radioactive emissions. On the basis of numerous experiments highlighted typical and unfavorable weather conditions for the cross-border transfer of accidental releases from nuclear power plants in Ukraine. The estimates of potential transboundary transfer of radionuclides from the Chernobyl exclusion zone on Belarus and Russia as a result of accidents at its facilities and as a result of extreme weather conditions (passing tornado, dust storm). Evaluate the possibility of cross-border transfer of radionuclides to the territory of Ukraine as a result of radiation accidents at nuclear power plants closest Russia (Kursk and Volgodonsk NPP), and the results of model estimates analyzed the possibilities of the existing network of radiometric observations of the Hydrometeorological Service of Ukraine in the detection of radioactive emissions from nuclear power plants in neighboring countries. Scope. The results can be used to develop and improve emergency response plans in case of beyond design basis radiation accidents. They make it possible to build the most effective strategy for emergency environmental monitoring at the regional and national levels, depending on the value of output, geography station location and weather conditions, the spread of radioactivity.
