The purpose of the project – to identify key meaningful components of system of prevention of socially dangerous diseases among young people and ways of its modernization. The tasks of the project: - Examining of domestic and foreign studies on prevention of socially dangerous diseases; - Development of new methodological approaches to research problems of preventing socially dangerous diseases; - Study of the legal framework for the prevention of socially dangerous diseases. The main results of research. In the research work the domestic and foreign studies on problems of prevention of socially dangerous diseases have been analyzed; methodological approaches to explore the problem of prevention of socially dangerous diseases have been studied; the legal framework for the prevention of socially dangerous diseases have been analyzed with the aim of further modernization. Within the project the problems of preventing socially dangerous diseases among young people have been comprehensively considered, based on common methodological principles, the main tendencies that characterize the distribution of socially dangerous diseases among young people in Ukraine and existing forms of preventive examinations and clinical examination of the population have been detected, that will allow to implement the targeted prevention and treatment of socially dangerous diseases based on behavior of youth. The paper investigated current trends of youth health and spread of social dangerous diseases among young people, youth attitudes to prevention of socially dangerous diseases have been studied. In addition, the paper presents the study of materials according to doctors and experts points of view on issues of preventing socially dangerous diseases among young people, as well as materials for the study of the views of young people that will identify impacts to enhance the prevention of socially dangerous diseases among young people, to identify existing deficiencies in the legal and regulatory framework for the prevention of socially dangerous diseases and to evaluate the effectiveness of structures that coordinate measures.
