Development of ecological techniques for the synthesis of nanomaterials currently is extremely important to extend the capabilities of their applications in biology and medicine. Despite the fact that there is now a fairly large number of physical and chemical methods of preparation of nanoparticles with different compositions, the need to use hazardous chemicals, high temperatures and pressure during the chemical synthesis greatly limits their further application, particularly in clinical studies. Therefore, "biogenic" approach to producing nanoparticles is considered more effective. Scientific research work is devoted to the development of reliable and reproducible methods of biological synthesis of semiconductor cadmium sulfide nanoparticles using plant extracts as well as the investigation of toxicity effects of these nanoparticles on animal and plant test- systems. When performing the work it is planned to synthesize CdS quantum dots using cell suspension culture of tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L) BY-2 cell line and culture of transgenic roots of the herbaceous plant Linaria maroccana L. Will be held spectrophotometric analysis of the nanoparticles. Furthermore, will be performed the analysis of synthesized nanoparticles by transmission electron microscopy. During 2015 will be completed the investigation of biological activity of the synthesized nanocrystals in animal tissues and plant objects including their cytotoxic and genotoxic effects. It is also envisaged the development of stabilization methods of the synthesized nanoparticles for future using them in biomedical applications, namely, for cell imaging and visualization of subcellular components by fluorescent microscopy Product Description popup.authors Ємець А.І.
