Ground states of cylindrical magnetic specimens of different sizes taking into consideration both dipole-dipole and exchange interactions as well as magnetic field for arbitrary relations of the interaction constants were investigated. The longitudinal dynamics of the magnetization under the action of a laser pulse has been studied for relativistic relaxation approximation in the frames of Landau model.
