Main tasks SRW were defined: 1. The analysis of situation and key problems of youth in modern Ukrainian society, in particular: 1) definition of the main social and demographic characteristics of the Ukrainian youth; 2) analysis of a state of health and orientation of youth to a healthy way of life; 3) determination of specifics of valuable orientations of the Ukrainian youth at the present stage; 4) the analysis of provision of youth in an education system; 5) research of a social and economic state and problems of employment of youth; 6) analysis of a state and problems of providing youth with the dwelling. 2. Research of results, problems and perspective of the state youth policy at the present stage of its formation and harmonization, in particular: 1) definition of extent of realization during 2013 of the conceptual and program fundamentals of the state youth policy developed and accepted at the previous stage of development of the independent Ukrainian state; 2) analysis of a state, problems and perspective of formation of the new mechanism of youth policy; 3) the analysis of effectiveness and productivity of ways of realization of the priorities of the state in the sphere of youth policy offered at the previous stage of its formation, the offer of more effective ways of realization of priorities of the state youth policy at the present stage; 4) the analysis of efficiency of the operating legislative providing youth policy of Ukraine and development of offers concerning changes and additions to the laws and regulations regulating the state youth policy. 3. Development of the generalized conclusions of rather current state of the Ukrainian youth, productivity of the state youth policy, and also concrete recommendations concerning its improvement and increase of efficiency. Results of SRW. In work investigated and analysed rethe general social and demographic characteristics of the Ukrainian youth in 2013 – its general quantity, a youth share as a part of all population of Ukraine, demographic features of the migratory processes peculiar to the Ukrainian youth. Report demonstrates the state of health and orientation of youth to a healthy way of life, valuable orientations of youth, level of her education and relationship with a modern education system, level of prosperity and employment. A state and problems of provision of housing are also covered in the report. Research were analysed resultes and problems of development and realization of the state youth policy during 2013, its conceptual bases and legislative providing are analysed and generalized. The report consists of two sections. It was prepared on the basis of the given state statistics, the information and analytical materials collected and presented by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of social policy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture and tourism of Ukraine, the Public migratory service of Ukraine, the Public penitentiary service of Ukraine, Institute of a demography and social researches of M. V. Ptukhi to National academy of Sciences of Ukraine, National institute of strategic researches at the President of Ukraine, services for children of regional public administrations, non-governmental establishments and the organizations. In the report are offered. concrete recommendations concerning improvement of conceptual, organizational, legislative fundamentals of the state youth policy and increase of its efficiency at the present stage.
