The methodology for calculating the density of natural gas in gas pipelines under high pressure, which is characteristic of the implementation of CNG transport technology is presented; the physical and mathematical model and the algorithm for calculating the parameters of the gas flow both in stationary and non-stationary conditions are developed ; the concept for the selection of equipment for the preparation and implementation of gas compression using CNG technology is prepared ; complex principles of design, construction and calculations of moving pipelines elements are developed, mathematical model for calculating the parameters of CNG-module is developed and validated; the main regularities of stress-strain state change of moving pipelines elements under operating conditions are identified ; the method for calculating the parameters of blowing the moving pipeline with an inert gas prior to putting it into operation to ensure anthropogenic and environmental safety is improved; methodological approaches are presented and conditions under which the processes of uncontrolled tenacious and brittle fracture of the pipeline are suggested; to ensure structural reliability of the moving pipeline the guidances for calculating safety factor according to the methods of calculation of critical structures are developed. The methodical approaches to the assessment of potential external sources of gas supply in Ukraine, taking into account of the geographic, resource, production and technical, economic, market and political factors are developed.
