A nanocomposite elastic material, which is characterized by persistent electric and electric deformation response to the action of external mechanical effort is designed and created. For various types of conductive nanocomposites, a correlation between material mechanical stress and electric current has been studied. Experimental measurements have been made in regime of sample compression by a cyclic method. The cycles have been repeated many times. By analyzing the relationship between these characteristics, it is found silicone-based materials with metallic impurities, where there is almost a linear relationship between strain and current as function of the external load. After irradiation of an array of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (CNT) by high-energy electrons, it was obtained the compact samples (fragments) with a diameter of 1-2 mm, which differ significantly in electromechanical and electrical properties and defects from conventional unirradiated CNT. This is due to partly bridged (covalent) bonds between adjacent nanotubes, which enable to reduce the contribution of inelastic processes (reduced hysteresis) in electrical conductivity for the compression regime of loading/unloading. Significant heat of the CNT array was observed under laser irradiation, resulting in a change in electrical conductivity without rising inelastic processes.
