Research object: Ukraine's socio-economic system. Research purpose: institutional transformation of Ukraine's socio-economic system. The aim is to clarify the main con-tradictions of institutional and socio-economic changes and define the forms and mechanisms to correctthe ongoing in-stitutional transformation in order to ensure a well-balanced socio-economic development in Ukraine. Methods: sys-temic, comparative analysis, logical induction, logico-historical, statistical. Results: improved the methodology to inves-tigate institutional transformations under the present conditions when the inversion-type market oriented reforms are combined with economic globalization; identified global institutional developments and their impact on the economic processes in Ukraine; shown the ongoing transformations in the system of property relations and governance; identified top priority measures within the financial and institutional reform in the economy in the context of global trends and overcoming the crisis; revealed the logic of the evolution of central bank as the government's banker; formulated a list of conditions necessary for the effective implementation of the policy of quantitative easing; defined the factors chang-ing the nature of monetary policy in the post-crisis period;revealed the inversion character of the transformations in Ukraine's banking system; proposed various measures to reform the relations concerning the rent of natural resources; defined the value based mechanisms of equilibrium adjustment of the institutional reforms;agreed the measures to im-prove the institutional components of Ukraine's European integration; andjustified a necessary institutional adjustment. The project's use: some results of the project have beensubmitted to public authorities for the use in the preparation of legal acts concerning the institutional corrections.
