The displays of in-side schooling differentiation that came true through organization of smoothing classes, introduction to the school educational content facultative lessons as an obligatory component are analyzed. The contribution of Ukrainian psychologists to gradual introduction of ideas about personality oriented schoolchildren' education (preparation to school of 6-years-old children, creation of different methodologies of teaching school objects, account of psycho-physiological features of schoolchildren) is described. V.A. Sukhomlynskiy's heritage about educating of "difficult" children is actualyized.
