The object of research is the content of education in high school. The subject is didactic principles of the fundamentalization of education in high school in the context of vocational training. The aim of the research is the creation of the theory of fundamentalization of education in high school. Research objectives are the following: to analyze the state of the research of identified problems in the philosophical, sociological, psychological and pedagogical literature; to develop conceptual and categorical apparatus of the research and to justify the didactic bases of the fundamentalization of education in high school in the context of vocational training; to develop the concept of the fundamentalization of education in high school; according to the research to prepare methodical recommendations for teachers on the fundamentalization of education in high school in the context of vocational training. Research methods include theoretical analysis, synthesis, comparison and contrast with the purpose of conceptualization of philosophical, psychological and pedagogical scientific literature, study of legal documents in the sphere of education, dictionaries, encyclopedias, abstracts, dissertations, online resources, and teaching experience in educational institutions of Ukraine; pedagogical experiment was conducted to test the efficiency of the proposed didactic principles of the fundamentalization of education in high school in the context of vocational training with the use of empirical methods (questionnaires, observation, oral questioning, conversation); predictive methods (modeling, the method of independent expert assessments) for implementing and testing instructional materials that were developed didactically. The results of the research. The theory of the fundamentalization of education in high school in the context of vocational training, which is presented in partial conceptual models, is developed; theoretically proved and tested results of the study are presented in the manuscripts of the Concept of the fundamentalization of education in high school (1,0); the collective monograph "Fundamentalization of Education in High School: Theory and Practice" (17,0); methodological recommendations "Fundamentalization of Education in the Context of Vocational Training" (4,0). According to the research aim and objectives the following results were achieved: for the first time in Ukrainian pedagogy the fundamentalization of education in high school was defined as a separate didactic problem; there have been studied theoretical and methodological bases of the fundamentalization of educational content in high school are reasoned. In particular, the design of the content of school education in pedagogical theory, social and educational factors of the fundamentalization of educational content, the system of knowledge as a cognitive dominant factor of the fundamentalization of educational content, epistemological value of the educational subjects in the context of the fundamentalization of educational content in high school; there have been analyzed the features of educational and cognitive needs and interests of high school students, which fulfillment causes the fundamentalization of educational content, promotes maximal involvement of individual characteristics, creates a favorable environment for intellectual development and social initiatives; and the potential of activity direction of high school educational content; there have been investigated the role and the place of the variable component of educational content in high school in the context of fundamentalization; there the blocks of versatile ways of teaching high school students and the technological aspect of their implementation are defined. The emphasis is placed on the competency focus of the content and the structure of educational subjects; partial models for individual sub-themes are developed; there the features of content fundamentalization of natural and humanitarian subjects in high school in terms of vocational education, the theoretical foundations of formation of value-semantic orientations in high school students, placing the focus on the importance of forming the system of ecological knowledge of the high school students in the process of fundamentalization of educational content; didactic guidelines of designing elective courses in terms of vocational education have been characterized; the fundamentalization concept of educational content in high school in terms of vocational education; pedagogical tools for solution of variable component of educational content in high school; and the guidelines for fundamentalization of the content of education in high school in terms of vocational education; there have been created the following conceptual models: of fundamentalization of content of the humanities in terms of vocational education; of fundamentalization of content of natural sciences in high school in terms of vocational education; of activity orientation of high school educational content; of fundamentalization of educational content of the foundations of environmental awareness in high school in terms of vocational education; of formation of high school students' value-semantic orientations; of competence orientation of educational content in high school as the basis of its fundamentalization have been developed; the knowledge selection criteria for fundamentalization of educational content: scientific orientation (objective truth, empirical accuracy, logical clarity, reliability); orientation of educational content on the functional use of acquired knowledge (vocationally oriented knowledge, their practical significance); educational content selection according to the fundamental nature of knowledge (the ability to acquire new knowledge based on already acquired); modern character of knowledge must meet the requirements of society, reflect today realities; orientation of educational content on the formation of personal values and value-semantic orientations of the pupils; in the context of the research problem there have been clarified and elaborated the essence of the concepts of "fundamentalization education", "fundamentalization educational content", "generalization of knowledge"; "value-semantic orientations of high school students"; the peculiarities of invariant and variant components of contents of vocational education have been reasoned; vocational differentiation have acquired the further development. Theoretical and experimental results of the study are summarized and presented in manuscripts of the collective monograph "Fundamentalization of educational content in high school: Theory and Practice", guidelines "Fundamentalization of educational content in terms of vocational education", the Concept of fundamentalization of educational content in high school in terms of vocational education, scientific articles and conference proceedings. The results of the fundamental research will help to improve the educational process in schools can be used in the preparation of plans and training programs in higher education.
