Development of new solid-fuel hydrogen technologies for alternative power generation and chemical industry. popup.stage_title Head Dudnyk Oleksii, Registration Date 10-02-2015 Organization Coal Energy Technology Institute of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 Object of research - the catalytic conversion of brown and bituminous coals with CO2 absorption, reforming of solid fuel with a high content of tar, conversion of hydrogen and CO in liquid organic substances. Objectives - determination of the catalyst effect on an increase in the hydrogen content during the steam conversion of steam bituminous and brown coals. Methods of research - standard methods for solid fuel research and new methods for assessment of steam conversion of Ukrainian coals using the plants: for steam gasification and conversion of synthesis gas into liquid fuel. The achievements in the conversion of solid fuels into synthesis gas and hydrogen were analyzed. The effect of ash content on the steam conversion of Ukrainian initial brown (BrC) coal, bituminouse coal (BC), and products of these coals cleaning into synthesis gas were determined. It was found that BrC and BC no need to enrich before steam gasification if their ash content is less than 35%. Steam conversion of BrC and BC were also carried out using CO2 absorbers with the addition of nanostructured Ni- and Fe-catalysts. It has been established that the use of lime and nanostructured Fe-catalyst can increase the rate of reaction of HF coke in the temperature range 720-770 °C in 1.5 times, and the use of calcined dolomite and Ni-catalyst in the temperature range 680-720 °C can increase the rate of reaction of HF coke in 1.7 times. Steam conversion of BrC with ash content of 9 to 31% with CO2 absorption needs: steam conversion temperature is 650 to 800 °C, and the use of sorbent based on the calcined dolomite to absorb CO2. Steam conversion of BC with ash content of 5 to 33% with CO2 absorption needs: steam conversion temperature is 750 to 850 °C, and the use of absorber based on lime to remove CO2. During the joint research at the Indian Institute of Petroleum, there was optimized the work of microchannel reactor for conversion of synthesis gas into liquid motor fuel. A new concept for the conversion of BC into liquid motor fuel was developed. Product Description popup.authors Дудник О. М. Соколовська І.С. popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
