Mass concentration ranges and intervals of the particles diameters are determined, which correspond to maximum carbon burn-out. Thin filaments of tungsten oxides are found to grow out while tungsten sample heating in air. Temperature conditions and physical-chemical mechanisms of whiskers formation are determined. Regularities of crystals branching are specified. New data on crystal growth thermokinetics are obtained. On the base of analytical solution of heat and mass transfer equations in parametric form a new approach is developed to determine critical conditions of heterogeneous catalytic reactions. A model is improved of high temperature heat and mass transfer and chemical kinetics of carbon fuel oxidation.
