Strains of pure cultures of microorganisms obtained from aboriginal consortium of original solid waste by directed selection. Features of the interaction of microorganisms with the solid waste were studied. The optimal regimes ways of intensifying and process control bacterial leaching of metals were established. A unique collection of acidophilus chemolithotrophic bacteria isolated from the specific ecological niche (technogenic waste of the coal and energy industry of Ukraine) was created. Testing the developed biotechnology by using solid waste of existing enterprises central concentrating mill "Chervonogradskaya" and "Lviv Coal Company" have been carried out.
