The soil protection appropriateness and effectiveness of drip irrigation of crops, particularly vegetables and fruit was installed according to the analysis of soil protection and agromeliorative effectiveness of existing and emerging technologies of irrigation of chernozems. The scientific and methodological approaches to the assessment of stability and prevent degradation of chernozems under irrigation influence, restoration and preservation of their ecological and production potential were substantiated. According to the results of multivariate stationary field experience there was justified a set of measures and soil conservation technologies which were aimed at restoring and expanded reproduction of fertility of chernozems, which were irrigated by sprinkling as well as with the use of drip irrigation. In ALLC "Agricultural firm Petrodolinskoe" there was conducted the research and production testing of complex melioration measures which were aimed at improving the productivity of winter wheat under irrigation and reclamation efficiency of irrigation in general.
