The sensitive bacterial stains suitable for the cultivation of amoebae have been isolated from the indigenous microflora of bentonite clay. The optimal conditions for the cultivation of bentonite amoebae (conditions for plaque formation, nutrient media, temperature) were determined. The sensitivity of different amoebae strains to the impact of stress factors (temperature, chemical composition of the medium, and others.) was revealed. The biotic interactions of bentonite amoebae with concomitant microbial groups were observed.
