Discussed in detail the processes of radiation transfer and heat and mass transfer, as the determining factor concerning their physical properties. Researches plasma glow spherical discharge was developed on the basis representations regarding the role of non-equilibrium processes in its maintaining. These researches was conducted analytical - methods of numerical simulation and experimentally - on the basis spectral and probe diagnostics of plasma. The methods of mathematical modeling of radiation transfer was developed and its effect on the thermodynamic state plasma was determine considering the deviation of the geometry real arc from cylindrical approximation. The studied properties of nonequilibrium plasma was used for improvement of technologies the production of alternative energy sources, modification of surface of structural materials and neutralization and recycling waste.
