The condensate of atoms is suggested to have both the own dipole moment and the dipole moment arising due to polarization under the action of the field. The cases are considered, when the dispersion curves of electromagnetic wave and excitations do not cross, and also when the condensate has excitations with an energy gap so that its dispersion curve and the dispersion curve of electromagnetic waves cross. It is shown that propagation of sound waves in mediums with spontaneous polarization is accompanied by oscillations of the electric field. Influence of the dipole-dipole interaction on the character of propagation of the electromagnetic wave and sound in Bose-Einstein condensate is studied. Within the framework of phenomenological approach, hydrodynamics equations for the normal and superfluid liquids with spontaneous electric polarization are obtained.
