The purpose of the work are optimization of the chromic oxide refractories pressing parameters, identification of the chromic oxide with zirconium dioxide addition middle dense refractories with glasses "E", "C" and basalt melts character of interaction. The research methods are chemical, petrographical, standard methods of determination of mass's moisture, apparent density, water absorption, open porosity, cold crushing strength and thermal shock resistance of refractories, crucible and dynamic methods for determining the corrosion resistance of refractories. Research of moisture of masses and pressure during semidry pressing influence on the apparent density of green and on the properties of firing chromic oxide thickened and chromic oxide with zirconium dioxide addition middle dense simples is carried out. Optimal moisture of masses and pressure during pressing of chromic oxide thickened and chromic oxide with zirconium dioxide addition middle dense refractories are established. The corrosion resistance of chromic oxide with zirconium dioxide addition middle dense refractories of ХСФС brand to melt glass "E" by dynamic method at a temperature 1360 °С with an exposure for 2 hours and crucible method at a temperature 1580 °С with an exposure for 8 hours is researched. It is determined that interaction of refractory with glass "E" consist in impregnation of glass in volume of refractory with absence of grain and binder corrosion. That confirms the reasonability of ХСФС brand refractories application in feeder system of glass melting furnaces for production of fiberglass from glass "E" as the bushing blocks. The research of refractory chromic oxide with zirconium dioxide addition middle dense refractories corrosion resistance to "C" and basalt melts by crucible method at a temperature 1580 °С with an exposure for 8 hours is detected insignificant corrosion of the samples. Conclusions about possibility of ХСФС brand refractories application for producing of the bushing blocks, which using at making of fiberglass from glass "C" and basalt, can do after further tests by dynamic method of their corrosion resistance to glass "C" and basalt melts at the exploitation temperature of the bushing blocks - 1360 °С. In compliance with the contracts trial lots of high refractory products: chromic oxide thickened and alumina-zirconium-silicate are produced. Continue the work in the direction of future improvement of chromic oxide and alumina-zirconium-silicate refractories technologies and expansion of their application branches.
