The subject of research - special methods of processing, the system software of technological processes, methods of modeling and optimization of technological operations and processes in manufacture of heavy engineering products. The purpose of research - the development of scientific and practical recommendations for increased efficiency of the new technological processes and operations of heavy engineering. Novelty - a complex approach to the application of innovative technology in system design operations and heavy engineering processes; the identification and the effective use of new special processing methods and principles of creation of the technological systems. The cognitive design model of machine retaining devices have been developed. Self-propelled drive design for machine tools has been engineered. A computable model that predicts parameters of the surface waviness with diamond grinding of thin-wall machining has been developed. The method of surface plastic strain hardening with a wedge roller application has been offered. It improves the quality of the hardened surfaces and provides the necessary properties of machine parts. Recommendations as for reliability improvement of tooling backup in process technology have been given. The method of strengthening for obtaining the required hardness and wear resistance of working surfaces in machine parts has been found.This method has been applied due to the thermit combustion combining corona discharge processes. The application of the method leads to hardening and wear resistance improvement of a part surface layer. The connection in model dimensions has been determined. It allows to control the accuracy of all sizes with the help of only one control size model. Research results can be useful in educational process, and also ( publications and presentations at scientific and methodological conferences) to be tested at other Engineering Universities and the leading machine-building enterprises of Ukraine.
