The purpose of research - to create lines and varieties of salad puff and capitate with a set of useful traits productively, to study the effect of growth regulators on seed productivity of varieties of lettuce seeds, explore after-mutagenic factors in expanding the range of selection-genotypic variability of forms salad. For chemical, morphological and organoleptic characteristics identify the best examples of salad for eating fresh. Methods - hybridization and individual and mass selection. In nursery inbred lines studied 56 samples of lettuce foreign and domestic origin, useful and productive characteristics (yield) distinguished 10 sortoobraztsov - at yield 8,1-9,0 t / ha. On the content of ascorbic acid color samples: Local 12 - 31.18 mg / 100 g, VDB - 33,78 mg / 100 g vs. 24.10 mg / 100 g standard, with high content of dry matter allocated Designs: Local 12 - 10 , 36% and Red credo - 10.41% against 9.65% in the standard.
