We have determined the correlation between the changes in environmental factors, their nonlinear relationships and limiting impact on ecosystems. The habitat loss risks for different species as well as the conditions and expansion pathways for invasive species have been assessed. The conservational significance analysis was conducted for the distinguished rare habitats. The causes of spruce forests degradation in the Carpathians under the influence of a complex of different factors have been clarified.
