Purpose - to explore the beginnings of the formation of representation of Ukrainian lands in the late Middle Ages and Early Modern time as an example of appropriate practices and implementation of the gentry involvement in these processes. The method of investigation. The work is a complex research on selected aspects of the history of parliamentarianism in Ukrainian lands in the late Middle Ages and Early Modern times of (1386-1648 gg.). The study concerns the following aspects: the genesis of representation in Ukrainian lands participation nobility of Ukrainian lands in the Crown (government) Diet, implementation and development of regional of representation - dietines, participation magnats in the Diet and Sejmik and their impact on these meetings, influential noble of representation Cossack layer and on its borrowing certain elements for their own government. The result of the research is reflected in the written paragraphs to the monograph, which, through modern methods and achievements of historical science (domestic and international) highlights and analyzes the main stages of formation and functioning forms of the parliamentary system of government, principlesand of representation, class democracy, self-government Ukrainian lands from the end to the middle of the XIV and XVII.
