Concerning structural position, magmatism and age within the Elbrus volcanic region there are divided 5 volcanic districts. Mineralogical and petrochemical characteristics of these formations are obtained. For reasons given data and studying of the regularities of wide range chemical distribution are determine a rocks geochemical profile, geochemical typification and it have been outlined a prospecting ore objects. Also it was completed an applied block of volcanism investigations: characteristic of the deep inclusions in rocks, reconstruction of geodynamics and crystallization conditions of acid melts of the Great Caucasus, petrophysical characteristics and typification of the rocks, determination of lateral trends of density, magnetic susceptibility, inductive magnetization of several volcanic rocks of province and their regression relationship between physical properties and composition.
