Subject of research: statistical data on the state, structure and dynamics of crime in the country, which characterize the state of national security in the areas of responsibility of the Ministry of Interior of Ukraine, as well as the factors influencing them. The purpose of research - development of a list of activities (indicators) of the state of national security in the areas of responsibility of the Ministry of Interior of Ukraine and its justification, assessment of national security is the responsibility of the Ministry of Interior of Ukraine and forecast of its development based on these activities (indicators) for a five year period. Methods of research are the collection, processing and analysis of scientific publications and materials in the media, statistical analysis and statistical forecasting.
