Purpose: to determine the content of the basic technological processes of acceptance and transfer of electronic documents from the National Archival Holdings formation sources to archival institutions of Ukraine. Methods of the research: conceptual, typological, comparative analysis, structural and functional analysis. Technological processes of acceptance and transfer of electronic documents from the National Archival Holdings formation sources to archival institutions of Ukraine are still not defined in legal acts of Ukraine. This led to the study of modern approaches to the theory and practice of electronic documents transfer to archival preservation considering general current requirements to electronic documents developing and archival institutions activity. On the basis of this study, was formulated the content of the basic technological processes of electronic documents acceptance and transfer: from legal entities-sources of the National Archival Holdings formation to archival institutions of Ukraine; from archival departments of district state administrations to the State Archives of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, state archives of regions, the cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol; form archival departments of city councils (under agreement), central state archives, the State Archives in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, state archives of regions, the cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol to the Central State Electronic Archives of Ukraine. Defined in the research work principles of acceptance and transfer of electronic documents for archival preservation are to form the basis of a special procedure which after its entry into force will be applied to all types of legal entities-sources of the National Archival Holdings formation and archival institutions of Ukraine.
