Theoretical and practical results: the information on current international standards in the sphere of archival affairs and records management was collected, processed and systematized; the list of these standards was analysed and prepared. Scientific-analytic review of international standards in the sphere of archival affairs and records management was prepared. Materials of the research will be used in archival sphere in practical, research and methodical work. The research results can be used in developing long-term plan for harmonization and implementation of international standards in the sphere of archival affairs and records management. The research results provide a scientific basis for harmonization of international standards, their perception as a prerequisite to the formation of a single archival information space.
