New method for processing of tools' flats and draft project of the machine for realization the method mentioned above are elaborated. The exploration of feed irregularity influence on edge cutting processing has been done. Investigations of influence of radial and face runout of front multi -blade instrument on the machining process and also influence of rigidity (spindle group) of front multi -blade instrument on the quality of processing of tools' flats are realized. The mathematical model of the processes mentioned above is elaborated. Theoretical investigations and pilot experiments of processing of intractable tools' flats by the surface heating with the using of industrial driers have been done. Analysis of possibilities of decreasing of the cutting forces by the using of Baushinger effect is conducted. Positive influence of the nonstationarity of the cutting process on the edge cutting processing is determined. The new conception of the process improvement is based.
