For the first time performed research topics publishing of NGOs to Galicia in 1939 as a multi-ethnic phenomena and Ukrainian publishing centers in Germany, France, Czechoslovakia in 1914-1939 years. Publishing legacy of one of the foremost publishers Ja.Orenshtayn be fully reflected in the bibliography of his publications and literature about him. Six scientific, historical and bibliographic book study editions are being prepared by 11 researchers of the department. Over the last year such research processes were made: source base for each edition was created; clearly assured of a significant number of publications, bibliographic descriptions are entered into a computer database. To ensure completeness of bibliographic publications on-line catalogs of scientific libraries of leading universities and national libraries of some European countries were used.
