Purpose of the work - development of radar methods of multiposition diagnostics and monitoring of plasma disturbances. Technique - theoretical investigations of wave scattering by field-aligned irregularities, practical experiments on synchronization of operation of the SuperDARN radar system (Arti, Ekaterinburg region, Russia) and the receiving site at the RAO (Kharkov region, Ukraine). Results – At UAS "Academik Vernadsky" and S.Ya. Braude RAO RI NASU tested the possibility of bi-location of ionospheric irregularities, located on the border of North polar oval; Theoretical estimation of trajectory characteristics and conditions aligned scattering test HF signal with respect to regular refraction; Test-measuring campaign for a two-stage diagnosis of MOII in the high-latitude ionosphere.. Novelty – a vast subpolar region from the Northern Scandinavia to the Far East remains out of the coverage area of the existing world-wide SuperDARN network. Within the project it is planned to span a part of this sector from the Northern Scandinavia to Ural.
