In particular we are interested in functional characterization of two-pore potassium channels and Na/H+ exchangers (NHX). During this term of project the tobaco transgenic plants expressing genes of NHX-transportres were created. The first regenerated plants of transformed barley were obtained with overexpression of TPK-channel genes (HvTPKb and HvTPKс).
