The aim of research - to justify theoretically and experimentally verify the pedagogical conditions of formation of school-age children family values. The object of study - the formation of students' family values. Subject of research - pedagogical conditions of formation of school-age children family values in contemporary socio-cultural conditions. The novelty of the work done: to analyze the philosophical, sociological, psychological, pedagogical literature on the problem of the study; defined socio-cultural conditions that influence the formation of family values in children of school age (emergence of the information society, the transformation of social relations, globalization, etc.); clarified the nature and structure of the concept of "family values" on their formation in children of school age; analyzed foreign experience of formation of family values in school children, in particular, the experience of the US and the UK; the criteria and indicators of formation of family values in school children; the modern condition of formation of family values in school children (tolerance, values of trust in the parent-child relationship and mutual understanding; the values of family life and communication).
