Aim. To improve the effectiveness of the radiologic diagnostic tools and optimize the monitoring of patients' treatment with the most spread types of malignant masses of female reproductive system, through studying and applying innovative methods (multispiral computed tomographic angiography, MRI, sonographic elastogram and stereotactic biopsy). Study methods - radiologic, clinical, statistical. Equipment - SCT Activion 16 (Toshiba) with material archivation on the working station Vitrea 2; ultrasound devices: EnVizor (Phillips), Nemio (Toshiba) with transducers L12 -7,5, C6 and С5-2 MHz; microscope Olympus CX 41, digital photocamera (Olympus). Complex of radiologic examinations were performed in 156 patients with tumors of female reproductive system. Totally 277 examinations were done. The diagnostic process included (MSCT, MRI, ultrasound with elastography and stereotactic biopsy). The signs of malignant tumors in this localiation were studied in particular. The role of each method was discussed and the general strategy for diagnosis work-up was created. The elastography results were supporting the echographic data regarding structure and solidness of breast tumors and cervix. The MRI results were more sensitive to reveal the spredaing of the process in the pelvis, distinguish the invasion in uterus and soft surrounding tissues. The spiral CT revealed the systemic spread. To increase the biopsy specificity , the stereotactic equipment was used. Our results support the rationality of running a complex of radiologic examination in the process of diagnosing the tumor spread.
