Anthropological composition, origin, bioarchaeologic reconstructions" made it possible to obtain, organize, and analyze new anthropological collections that date back from the X millennium BC to the II millennium AD. As a result of the research, numerous anthropological sources have been introduced, which allowed to analyze key stages in the formation of the ancient population and to examine the main anthropological trends in ethnogenetical processes in Ukraine and adjacent territories of South-Eastern Europe from the Stone Age to the Cossack time. New bioarchaeological reconstructions have been offered according to paleodemography, paleodiet, paleopatology and paleogenetic data. The scientific achievements of this project outline perspectives and directions for further research of actual problems of historical anthropology of Ukraine.
